2009 Annual Meeting and Awards

Each year, American Red Cross Chapters recognize outstanding volunteer contributions and exceptional commitments by honoring chapter supporters with prestigious annual awards. Awards include the Clara Barton Award, Henri Dunant Award, Frank Corti Fund Development Award, Linda Brandenburger Legacy Leadership Award, and Joyce Raley Teel Humanitarian Philanthropist Award.

On Friday, July 9, 2009 the American Red Cross, Sacramento Sierra Chapter held its Annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet at the Sierra Health Foundation. Volunteer and Staff Award winners were announced.

Second Annual Time, Talent and Treasure

On April 18, 2009, the Sacramento Sierra Chapter Legacy Circle Society and Tiffany Circle Society of Women Leaders jointly sponsored a tea at the Westover Estate in El Dorado Hills to celebrate the time, talent and treasure of local women.
