Cirque du Sonora

Cirque du Sonora, billed as the “Circus With a Purpose,” will be an all-day event, Saturday, September 11 at the main lot of Sonora Subaru, the event’s presenting sponsor. Featured will be local musicians and circus performers, as well as jugglers, clowns, acrobats, and dancers being brought in from around the state and the world. Admission is free to the entertainment and Midway, which will feature game booths operated by the participating nonprofits. Families can come out for a great day of free fun, and by interacting with the nonprofits, including the American Red Cross, learn about the great work they do in this community. Hometown Heroes Luncheon

We invite you to join the American Red Cross and Jackson Rancheria as we honor hometown heroes from our local community at a very special luncheon to be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Doubletree Hotel from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.. These individuals have shown courage, kindness and unselfish character by an act of heroism throughout the Sacramento Sierra region. Join us in celebrating these extraordinary individuals who exemplify the values and principles of the Red Cross.

Red Cross Bowl-a-Rama

You don't have to be a regular bowler to have fun and support your local American Red Cross. Just put together a team of four individuals, gather pledges and call to reserve a lane!  The 2010 Bowl-a-Rama will be held at Black Oak Lanes (part of Black Oak Casino) in Tuolumne on Saturday, October 23.  Bowl from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  T-shirts and prizes for bowlers!!
